Guy Fieri Believed To Have Made Homophobic Comments
David Page, who was the producer of the show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives (the show that put Guy Fieri on the map) revealed that the celebrity host was homophobic in 2011. Page revealed that Guy Fieri stormed out of a restaurant after learning the owners were a gay couple.

While his spokesperson tried to restore order and remove the shadow of negativity, a former field producer of the show, Kari Kloster, said something similar to David Page.
Guy Fieri Was Inappropriate Around Women As Well
While David Page accused Guy Fieri of being homophobic in Fieri’s Dark Side in 2011, Fieri also had several harassment claims against him. Page revealed that when the cameras went off-air, the editors and producers had to keep an eye on Fieri’s eye because he would often stare at a woman’s breasts.
Furthermore, any time a woman said the word “cream,” Guy Fieri would end up making a number of sexual riffs that were completely uncalled for!
The Celebrity Host Was Not Favored By His Team
Another former producer for the show opened up about Fieri’s tyrannical behavior of making his crew work late and rearranging his schedule without consulting anyone. Moreover, he would not accept flights if it was from an airline he disliked.
It’s said that no one quite liked him because of the constant issues revolving around him.
Guy Fieri’s Restaurant Was A Huge Flop
In 2012, the celebrity host opened his own restaurant – Guy’s American Kitchen and Bar.
However, the restaurant, while being huge, its food could not live up to the expectations set by the fantastic descriptions on the menu.
The portion size was inadequate and it was overcrowded.
The restaurant shut in 2017 after Guy Fieri tried to make it a huge success for five long years. New York Times reviewer, Pete Wells, did not give a good review in any shape or form, and several visitors had the same review about the restaurant.
