Emma Watson keeps a low profile on Instagram, but her fans are always on the lookout for sightings of her, like playing Pickleball last weekend. The actress joined a celebrity pickleball tournament hosted by Stephen Colbert in a cute tennis outfit.
The Harry Potter alum was one of eight celebrities vying for The Colbert Cup, a Comic Relief US fundraiser. She paired with the boxing veteran Sugar Ray Leonard and became The Volley Ranchers.
Ready To Rumble In All-White And Green
Watson decked out in a pleated white mini skirt with a tank top, white visor hat, and matching sneakers. Her fans had no idea she was coming out to slay when she wrote “Ready to RUMBLE” via her Instagram story.
The actress wore her shoulder-length light brown hair in tousled curls underneath her visor and wore a dark green armband on one wrist.
The Time Of Her Life

Watson enjoyed her time playing Pickleball, as expressed via her Instagram story. She thanked Colbert for setting up the competition for a good cause, and even though she lost this year’s match, Watson is ready for the next tournament.
She faced off against top-ranking celebrities, including Kelly Rowland, Luis Guzman, and Murray Bartlett, amongst others. It was the inaugural game of its kind and would return next year with an even more stacked lineup.
What’s The Pickled Cup About?
Colbert’s Pickled raises funds for Comic Relief safety programs channeled towards helping the homeless, endangered children, families living in poverty, and the rootless. The game isn’t new despite this tournament being the first of its kind, as it’s existed for over fifty years.
It requires tossing a ping pong-sized ball across a net like a tennis game with a unique solid racket.
Making Her Directorial Debut
Watson focuses on her career and other philanthropic acts when she’s not playing pickleball. She last appeared in a major movie in 2019 when she played Margaret March in Little Women but returned for the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts reunion.
She made her directorial debut in Prada’s Paradoxe Fragrance Campaign this year, thus adding another feather to her cap. Directing the campaign was her one request to join it, and the fashion house indulged her.
Watson’s fans, however, aren’t pleased with the actress as they complained about her Instagram account becoming a massive ad space and thus “impersonal.”
