Katy Perry is looking drop-dead gorgeous as she ushers in major holiday energy in a strapless red dress. The Roar singer thrilled her Instagram followers in her latest share, posting with a holiday spirit and also celebrating her new Cozy Little Christmas track going Platinum – the festive record has hit sales of 1 million copies. Katy marked the milestone for her army of followers, also celebrating “Shoe Day Tuesday” via a hashtag. The songstress joins the likes of singers Mariah Carey and Carrie Underwood in getting Xmas-ready with their music – and doing very well as a result, too.
Stuns In Red Dress
The photo showed Katy snapped indoors and backed by white and green walls while under a chandelier.
Posting jointly with her Katy Perry Collections brand, the singer channeled old-school Hollywood glam, turning her head to the side as she struck a pose and modeled a fabulous, rich satin, and bright red dress. Showing off her toned arms and shoulders as she added in a chic and large waist bow, the A-Lister clutched her dog in one arm and a giant framed copy of her record in the other. She added in glitzy diamond jewelry via a necklace and earrings while also sporting a full face of makeup complete with blush and a very bold red lip. “When Cozy Little Christmas goes platinum, ya go platinum with the Dellilah Jingle too! #shoesdaytuesday ,” a caption read.
Promoting Her Track
Promo on Katy’s Instagram has this month been heavily geared towards promoting her new beats.
“I don’t need , no sparkly things …but I do need Cozy blankets, heat-changing mugs, and something nice to wrap it all up in! ☝ Cozy Little Christmas merch available now,” she recently told fans. Katy has confirmed that she is pumped for Xmas 2022, although she did admit to Access Hollywood that she hadn’t quite gotten her “Elf on the Shelf” ready.
Running Her Shoe Brand
Katy had made sure to promote her footwear brand in her post – she’s also opened up on her designer edge, even mentioning another music face.
“There would have been a world where I would have done something like Billie Eilish — I loved the sleeves,” she told Footwear News . “I wanted to be more modern, to almost look like the underpinnings of the era, as if you took one of those dresses and X-rayed it.”
Joining Celeb Entrepreneurs
Katy is not alone in retailing apparel. Doing the same are Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Miranda Lambert, and Reese Witherspoon.
