One of America's greatest treasures is the 'Legally Blond' series.

The first one was an absolute treat, and the second one carried on the tradition by also being a treat.
But since the first two, we haven't got much in the way of Legally Blonde.
But it looks like we're getting a third movie!
This we've known since 2018, when Reese Witherspoon (Elle herself) posted this video to her Instagram, confirming that the project was, in the very least, in development.
Everyone, you can rejoice now.
We haven't heard much about it since.

It still is in development and all, but Reese Witherspoon recently talked about how she wanted the original cast back:
Specifically, Luke Wilson, Jennifer Coolidge and Selma Blair, who play Emmett, Paulette and Vivian respectively.
"If we end up doing it, hopefully they end up all being there. There's so many great characters that people love."

Well, she's right about that.
As for what it could be about, there are rumors that Elle might become a Supreme Court Justice or a power attorney. All in all, she said one thing that got us hyped:
"This is gonna be good."
