House Passes Resolution On Trump Impeachment Procedures

The House has officially voted to approve presidential impeachment procedures, despite earlier objection by the GOP.

NBC reported that the resolution was passed this Thursday morning, which will subsequently open a new phase of the investigation into President Trump.

The resolution was passed on a vote of 232 to 196.

The passing of the resolution can largely be credited to House Democrats, as most House Republicans have accused the party of improperly conducting the inquiry in the first place.

However, the inquiry is far from over.

House Democrats will now begin the process of holding public hearings in order to present testimony against President Trump.
