In addition to celebrating her daughter's first birthday, the family just pulled off one of the most clever family costumes we've ever seen!

Everyone else go home, Hilary Duff and her family just won Halloween!

Together, they pulled off a costume that is so darn clever, we wish we thought of it first!
This is saying a lot considering so many celebs have been bringing their A-game this Halloween.
So far, we've seen it all: individual costumes, couple ones, and even adorable family get-ups that totally rock it.
Like Jessica Biel's having to dress up as her husband from his NSYNC days after admitting on late-night TV that she doesn't know his old songs.
For Justin, revenge was a dish best served hilarious.
There have been so many adorable family costumes, too.

Gabrielle Union "brought it" when she recreated her Bring It On days with her old Clovers cheerleading outfit (which still looks fab on her, BTW).
The look wasn't complete without her youngest daughter, Kaavia dressing up as a cheerleader alongside her.
So cute!
People are still on the fence about Stormi Webster's costume, though.

While Kylie Jenner's daughter looked totally glam in this recreation of her mother's Met Gala dress — purple wig and all — many on social media said that the dress wasn't age-appropriate.
They pointed out how Stormi looked sad, even as she recreated her mom's signature poses from the red carpet.
Granted, Stormi's costume also wasn't *technically* a family costume since mom Kylie went as Britney to her BFF Stassi's Madonna.
Together, they recreated that 2003 VMA's performance, scandalous kiss and all.

As mentioned earlier, Hilary Duff's crew definitely has it in the bag!
The actress is currently engaged to Matthew Koma and the pair have a one-year-old daughter together named Banks.

Duff also has her older son, Luca, from her previous marriage to hockey pro, Mike Comrie.
Together, the fam pulled off dressing up as the weather for Banks' birthday party.

Koma is a rainy day, Luca was the moon (a cool one at that, given the shades) Banks was the rainbow, and Hilary radiated sunshine as the sun with her bright yellow top and sun crown.

For instance, when she found herself in hot water for wearing a controversial costume with ex Jason Walsh to the 2016 Casamigos Halloween Party.
The former couple went as a "Pilgrim and an Indian."
Soon, there was so much outrage against the couple's costume choice that Hilary had to publicly apologize on Twitter.
She wrote: "I am SO sorry to people I offended with my costume. It was not properly thought through and I am truly, from the bottom of my [heart]. sorry."
