It looks like Ryan Reynolds might agree with his celeb doppelgänger, Kate Beckinsale that they do, in fact, look alike.
He even delivered this news with the best response that is soooo Ryan — or so Kate, should we say?

Leave it up to Ryan Reynolds to provide a hilarious response to Kate Beckinsale calling them identical!
He did so by offering her a movie pitch, AKA the deal of a lifetime!
In case you missed that whole twin debacle, it all took place on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."

Kate had been there to debunk the internet's myth about her having a fake rubber leg and to promote her new film, Farming.
Speaking of that fake leg rumor, it all began when the actress posted this video to Instagram:
It's of her doing some insane stretches with her trainer.
As you can see, this does not look natural, right?

Soon, people left comments on her post, letting her know how mystified they were.

Actress Selma Blair summed up our thoughts by writing: "Wowza."
From there, things escalated to the point where rumors of her having a fake leg started to take off.

So while Kate was on Jimmy Fallon, she had the chance to clear everything up, once and for all!
Sorry, guys. Her leg isn't made of rubber and she's not running off to join the circus, either.

Although, both of those things would be really cool!
She's just super flexible and it all stems from her ballet days.

She told Jimmy:
"I've always been like that," she said. "I did a lot of ballet when I was a kid and now I can cause worry about a fake leg. That's really all I've got."
Kate also surprised Jimmy — and the world — by saying that she and Ryan Reynolds look *exactly* alike.

"Like, in a shocking way," she said.
She went on to explain how this whole twin thing affects her daily life.
"Sometimes I'll see a bus going by with a poster on it, I think, 'damn, I look hot — oh wait, it's not me, it's — also I never did that movie,'" she joked.
To prove her theory, there was even a side-by-side image of the two celebs.

And honestly, it is pretty uncanny. They've got similar everything.
"It's weird, right?," Kate said. "I've wrestled with how — he's not even a sort of slightly girly boy band type. He's a big Canadian man."

"And I really see myself in him," she continued.
We'd be down with a British Ryan Reynolds, just saying.
When Jimmy asked if she's ever worked with him, Kate quickly responded.
"No, I can't be in the same room as him," she said. "One of us would, I think, explode. Something would happen."
Past boyfriends of the actress have been in the same room as him, though.

"It felt really compromising, I feel like — way too intimate."
When Jimmy tried to clarify what she meant by asking if her exes are attracted to Ryan, she said:

"No, they just feel like, they've got a special — they sort of know things about his undercarriage that they shouldn't."
While Jimmy might not have been totally convinced, Twitter soon became abuzz with more proof:

This was his hilarious way of pointing out that both he and Kate have starred in vampire movies: Blade for Ryan and Underworld for Kate.
Did we really expect anything less from Ryan?
This is the guy who literally makes us all laugh for a living.
Plus, when it comes to trolling, nothing is off-limits. Not even his wife!
