Rosario Dawson Accused Of Verbal and Physical Abuse Of A Transgender Man

Actress and activist Rosario Dawson, best known for her roles in Rent, Josie and The Pussycats, and Men In Black II, has just had a lawsuit filed against her and her family for alleged abuse of a transgender man, according to Buzzfeed News.

Dedrek Finley filed the civil suit last weekend after working for Dawson, her mother, and her step-father.

Finley began working for them in October of 2017, and came out to the family as transgender in December of 2017. Findley then alleges that the Dawson family began to misgender him "multiples times each day, with deliberate indifference."

Finley alleges that Dawson's mother pulled him through a window and threw him onto the ground.

Finley also alleges that Dawson helped restrain him by sitting on him during this incident.

Finley's attorney told NBC News, "He just wants to get some sort of compensation, so he can get back on track with his life so he can put this incident behind him."
