Wendy Williams Just Called Out Meghan Markle: 'Nobody Feels Sorry For You'

If there's one person who knows about the pressures of the public eye, it's goddess of the world and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.

Since marrying Prince Harry last year, Meghan has been under relentless scrutiny from many popular British tabloids.

It seems nothing the Duchess can do is good enough for anyone, which is shocking because I think she's perfect.

Now, fans are getting a glimpse into how much the Duchess has been struggling in the new ITV documentary, "Harry & Meghan: An African Journey" which debuted in the U.K. this past Sunday.

This rare glimpse into Meghan's personal life reveals she's been struggling behind the scenes, and few people have asked her if she's okay.

In another clip, Meghan talks about being discouraged from marrying Prince Harry by her British friends.

"When I first met Harry, my friends were so excited. My U.S. friends were happy because I was happy. But my British friends, they were sure he was lovely, but they said I shouldn't do it because, 'The British tabloids will destroy your life.'"

"I didn't get it. So, it's been complicated," Meghan concluded.

While many of us have empathized with the Duchess, talk show host Wendy Williams is taking a different approach.

While speaking to the audience on Tuesday's episode of The Wendy Williams Show, Williams played the clip before remarking "Yes you did. You knew exactly what you were doing."

"And I applaud her plot-ation on the royal situation. But please, don't try to garner sympathy from us. You knew what you were doing."

"I mean, I like them. I really do like them. But her [Meghan], there's something about her," Wendy continued.

"You know what I'm saying?"

"Meghan, don't be surprised at the paparazzi everywhere. Of course, 'cause you're now a royal."

"They weren't following you when you were on Suits."

She concluded, "Meghan Markle, nobody feels sorry for you. You knew what you were signing up for, girl."

Naturally, this sweeping statement upset a lot of people.

People pointed out that Wendy wanted sympathy when it was revealed her husband had been having an affair, but is refusing to extend sympathy to Meghan.

What do you think of Wendy's remarks?
