Robert Pattinson's Batman Isn't "A Real Hero" According To The Star

Robert Pattinson recently did an interview with the New York Times, and he had a lot to say about the upcoming Batman character he will be playing.

The star is not giving us the traditional hero we know and love.

When the interview asked him why he was skeptical of playing a hero, this is what Pattinson had to say:

"Batman’s not a hero, though. He’s a complicated character." Pattinson told the New York Times.

He continued by saying:

"I don’t think I could ever play a real hero — there’s always got to be something a little bit wrong. I think it’s because one of my eyes is smaller than the other one."

When asked what excited him, he responded:

"His morality is a little bit off. He’s not the golden boy, unlike almost every other comic-book character."

He finished with:

"There is a simplicity to his worldview, but where it sits is strange, which allows you to have more scope with the character."
