Fortnite is a free online game that took the world by storm in late 2017, and it's pretty much the only thing that people have been playing ever since.
Essentially, the game rallies up a randomized selection of online users, drops them on a map that shrinks in size periodically — forcing the users closer and closer together.
It's then up to the players to gather enough weapons and materials to kill as many other players as they can, or lay low until they are the last survivor.
So, naturally, the game has been booming even more than usual.
She's about two and a half years too late, but okay.
What's even better than the fact that she's asking what one of the most popular video games of our time is, is that she misspelled the name of it.
But in the event that she's being totally serious and actually has no idea what Fortnite is, then the reactions she is receiving on Twitter are completely justified.
Her whole shtick is pop-culture and yet, she seems to have been living under a rock...?
This gif basically sums it up.
And as you can probably imagine, the reactions have been nothing shy of truly hilarious.
It seems far-fetched, but definitely not impossible.
Is it possible that she literally meant "fortnight" as in, two weeks?
Any tweet that manages to attract this much attention is more than deserving of that title.
If this was her maniacal plan all along, I love her even more for it.
She could have gotten an answer to her question a whole lot faster if she had just typed it into Google instead.
Do you think this was all apart of a larger scheme to market her upcoming album?
Is it possible that she genuinely didn't know what Fortnite was?
