Prince’s estate does not want the late pop legend’s music to be associated with President Donald Trump.
On Thursday, President Trump held a campaign rally in Prince’s hometown of Minneapolis.

According to USA Today , rally organizers thought it would be a good idea to play the musician’s hit song “Purple Rain” to get the crowd pumped.
While it may (or may not) have pleased the crowd, it sure as heck did not please Prince’s estate.
The singer’s estate tweeted their frustration with the president.
“The Prince Estate will never give permission to President Trump to use Prince’s songs.”
The tweet included a letter received by Prince’s estate in October 2018, in which a representative for President Trump agreed not to play any Prince music going forward.

Yikes.
