Jennifer Aniston Called Out Marvel Movies For “Diminishing” Cinema

Uh oh! We all know what happens when someone disses Marvel movies! What's that? You don't, because no one has yet?

Well, let's just say the internet isn't all that kind to them.

Jennifer Aniston, she's a national treasure.

Beloved by most, she is probably one of those actresses that could do no wrong in people's eyes.

Yes, except maybe be apart of the whole Brangelina scandal, she is pretty inoffensive.

What's that? She said what?

Oh, she said that Marvel movies were diminishing cinema? Just like Martin Scorsese said?

In fact, her exact words were:

“You’re seeing what’s available out there and it’s just diminishing and diminishing in terms of, it’s big Marvel movies".

She also went on about green screens.

She went on to say: "Or things that I’m not just asked to do or really that interested in living in a green screen,”

Ian McKellen was also not that big of a fan of green screens, so she's in good company there.

Finally, she ended with a call to the past.

She said:

“[I'd] love to have the era of Meg Ryan come back. I just think it would be nice to go into a movie theatre, sit cosy. I think we should have a resurgence. Let’s get the Terms of Endearment back out there. You know, Heaven Can Wait, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, Goodbye Girl.”
