The Irwins are without a doubt my favorite famous family. I'm sorry, the Smiths, the Kardashians, and the Baldwins, but you just can't compete with the warm, wholesome, and environmentally conscious unofficial first family of Australia.

Robert Irwin 'Can't Wait' To Walk His Sister Bindi Down The Aisle At Her Upcoming Wedding
If you didn't know, Bindi Irwin just got engaged.

Bindi and her fiance Chandler actually met the exact same way that Steve Irwin met his wife, Terri. Steve (and later Bindi) were giving a tour at the Australian Zoo that their future spouses attended.
The engagement photos were taken by Bindi's brother, Robert, who's basically a mini Steve.

Bindi wrote of the photos, "We were in the gardens of Australia Zoo and it was beyond perfect. I never even knew Robert was there photographing and I’ll always be grateful to have these special memories of the most amazing day of my life."
Robert is a skilled photographer, and his Instagram is full of fun shots.

Including this one, which, okay, he didn't take since he's the one in it, but really shows off how similar him and his dad really are. His caption tugged at our heart strings: "Dad and me feeding Murray... same place, same croc - two photos 15 years apart."
Robert recently revealed he'd had to take some stand-in shots with HIM and Chandler to make sure the shot was set up correctly.

He revealed these "outtakes" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and jokingly called it "the happiest day of my life."
But that's not his only involvement in this couple's special day.
Bindi revealed Robert will be walking her down the aisle.

Bindi told Entertainment Tonight that, "I think that for me, it’ll be really important that Robert walks me down the aisle," and added that, "I think it's what Dad would've wanted."
Bindi emphasized how important Robert has been to her.

"I’m always so grateful that Robert is there, and he has been such a big part of my life and he’s always stepped up and been the one to give me a hug when I need it and encourage me forward in life," Bindi said.
The family is all certain that Steve would be incredibly proud of and happy for Bindi and Chandler.

When news broke about their engagement, Terri Irwin tweeted, "Best day ever! Chandler asked and beautiful @BindiIrwin said yes."
"I am so very happy and I know Steve would be too. Congratulations!"

Bindi also spoke to Australia Women's Weekly and added, "Mum and Robert and I have talked about that a lot. We all think dad would have loved Chandler."
This news has obviously stirred up a lot of emotions in the fans of family.
We've all practically watched both Bindi and Robert grow up over the past twenty years, and we all feel connected to this family.
Bindi just shared this tease of her wedding dress on Instagram.

She captioned the shot, "I said yes to the dress," and Chandler commented saying that he couldn't wait to see it, which is the cutest thing I've ever seen.
