Wait a minute, am I seeing double?
No, these actors just look a lot like the people they're portraying. Gotta give props to the makeup department on this one.

This role gained him an Oscar and the way that he looked played no small part. Everything about this look is perfect: from the mustache to the slicked-back hair.
Oh yeah, and his voice was pretty good too.
The movie Monster was a powerhouse when it came out in 2003.
A lot of its fame came from the fact that they transformed Charlize Theron, one of the most beautiful women in the world into... well, not that.
You'd think that they'd get a man to play Bob Dylan, but apparently Cate Blanchett was just too good to pass up.
And honestly, seeing her as the famed musician... I can see why they chose her.
Sure, you Tina Fey purists out there might have something to say about this choice, but honestly, Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin is probably the best I've seen.
Sorry, Tina, you'll just have to get praise a million other places.
Damn! Now that is an actor who nails the person they're trying to portray!
Seriously though, if you haven't seen Jimi: All Is By My Side then check it out.
Before he was Iron Man, Robert Downey Jr. was nailing this silent film era superstar in Chaplin.
Seriously, when I think of biopics the second person I think of is RDJ.
Right behind...
Well, I mean, duh.
This movie won Daniel Day-Lewis his 80th Oscar (he must be using them as paperweights at this point) and it was a performance worthy of the award.
This is an example of an actor who doesn't need all that much to transform into the person they are portraying (save maybe a unibrow here or there).
As a side note: cool monkey.
What an awesome movie. And Christian Bale nailed the Vice President so perfectly. Constantly scheming, constantly moving, and yet so cool, calm and collected... most of the time.
Sam Rockwell was a great Bush, too.
Some might call the movie a tad bit pretentious, but you know what, Jim Morrison was a self-proclaimed poet.
So yeah, a biopic about him was going to be a bit pretentious.
This movie (aptly titled The Queen) was one of Helen Mirren's finest performances. And look at her, it was like she was born to play Queen Elizabeth II!
I wonder if the Queen has seen The Queen...
From a historic British monarch to an even more historic British Prime Minister, I couldn't think of anyone else better to play Margaret Thatcher than Meryl Streep.
She is a national treasure... and Margaret Thatcher isn't all that bad either.
Well, it would be hard to picture anyone else playing the role of Alfred Hitchcock.
Anthony Hopkins is an old British man, who better to play... an old British man.
It would be suicide to try and play Marilyn Monroe if you're not talented and above all gorgeous.
Luckily for Michelle Williams, she has both of those qualities in spades.
