It's one of those that has completely dominated our mainstream culture in the last ten years or so, and will be remembered alongside the rest of the 2010 culture.
And it helps when you have an executive producer like Greg Nicotero, who has worked on some of the biggest horror movies of all time.
He just loves putting easter eggs into episodes of The Walking Dead
Another time, he snuck a Necronomicon into Rick Grimes' last episode.
