Selma shares the ups and downs of her diagnosis with her followers, while also managing to poke fun at herself.

And now, in a new interview with E! News she shares how she manages to stay strong and keep smiling, especially as a mom.
When speaking about her friends Ashlee Simpson and Christina Milian, Selma only had wonderful things to say.
"Even though I don't get to see them much.. I've been around this town for so long, all the moms have kind of grown up here, gotten more mature here, so now no matter what, we all support each other. It just happens."
"It feels good to have a community, no matter where you are. It's everything."

Recently, Selma shared her journey getting back to riding her horse Mr. Nibbles.

"I haven’t ridden my horse in over a year," she wrote.
"He came to visit me last Halloween. In my front yard. It was my most uplifting houseguest. I will go see him tomorrow... I am so looking forward to this reunion. I will keep you posted."
She then posted this picture of their reunion the next day and honestly, my eyes are watering.
