16 Pics That Get Better (Or Worse) The More You Look

Sometimes, when you look at something — a picture, a movie, or just something in real life — your brain tells you something is off. Sometimes it's incidental because the world is weird like that, but other times it's completely intentional...and sometimes they're just weird tricks of the eye. Either way, be prepared to do a couple extra takes.

1. You've heard of the Avengers, now get ready for the Revengers. Don't spoil the movie though, or Detective Horse will track you down and deliver you to Fedora Ron. You do not want to know what will happen after that.

2. Has cloning technology gone too far? Still, it's a little narcissistic to get yourself to take a picture of yourself, holding the picture of yourself as it's being taken by yourself...and so on.

If your clone takes a picture of you, is that technically a selfie?

3. The longer you look at this, the more likely you are to lose whatever lunch you've eaten today.

The texture combination of noodles, eggs, and rice is almost enough to qualify this for the Geneva Convention for crimes against cuisine.

4. That moment when you realize there isn't a truck hidden behind that hummer. That modification was intentional.

Someone thought about doing this, and decided "Yes, this is a smart decision and a wise use of money." Then again, they own a hummer so there's not much of a surprise.

5. People like this, and anyone who actually buys something from here, deserve a lifetime ban from the internet.

Some might call it extreme, but it's a hill I'm willing to die on.

6. From the guys who bought you Man fighting in the middle of nowhere comes the next riveting installment in the Man fighting in the middle series. The next game, Man fighting Malcolm in the Middle, is due in 2019.

7. Just keep looking at Snow White, and everything will remain normal. Definitely don't look at Jasmine's arms, or Mrs. Potts'...anything.

Belle really shouldn't have skipped leg day. Never skip leg day.

8. There's such a wide range of emotions and facial expressions here, it could probably be a Renaissance-era painting. I call it "The Audience's Lament."

Here's hoping the premium seating was worth it.

9. As someone who has played his fair share of video games (which is an understatement), this hurts me down to my very soul. The longer you stare at it, the worse it gets.

10. I don't remember this episode of Friends, do you? Was it called "The One Where Everyone Swaps Faces" or something. It might make things a little weird between the couples.

11. Computers were a big deal back in the '90s, and they elicited a wide range of emotions from kids of all ages. From the sheer euphoria of striped shirt kid to inducing narcolepsy in the guy near the back.

12. There's a lot going on here, and none of it is right.

For those not familiar with Pokémon: none of those names are right, that isn't razor leaf, and rhyhorn (the one on the right) is immune to thunderbolt.

13. Either that guy is the world's smallest cowboy, or there's some perspective wizardry at work here.

Reddit | sammyjay55

I'm going to stick with the tiny cowboy hypothesis if that's alright with you.

14. I'm not sure how I feel about this new line of existential crisis-themed board games. I'm leaning towards "not okay."

Philosophers in Hell are basically sentenced to play them for all eternity.

15. Pros of driving a flying carpet: great mileage, infinite fuel, doubles as a blanket.

Reddit | SuperDOS

Cons: lack of cup holders and seatbelts, and lots of flies getting stuck in your teeth.

16. Well, I guess we found Nemo. Turns out he's leaving the ocean life and got a job acting as a car blinker. Way to get with the modern times, dude.
