These days a lot of people use Photoshop to get rid of imperfections. That’s understandable. Most of us want to put our best foot forward.
There’s something to that as long as you don’t go overboard. A little touch-up never hurt anybody, right? But when you overdo it or lack the proper skills to hide your ticks, that’s when it looks ridiculous.

“Let’s just throw a hat on a stock photo and call it a day.” That’s probably what went through the mind of whoever did this poor Photoshop here. And they didn’t even bother to run it by someone else either.
6. This ‘Osbournes’ Ad
I love the Osbournes because they’re hilarious. But there is something seriously wrong with this TV ad. All their faces got so badly Photoshopped I’m horrified to even look at them here. How did this ad get a go-ahead?
7. This Catfish Attempt
“I had a feeling I was being catfished so I asked for a ‘fan tag’ to prove he was real,” said this Reddit user. Unfortunately, I don’t think this is exactly what they had in mind. Those hands look so fake!
8. This One-Legged Man
It took me a while to figure out what was going on here but once I saw it, I couldn’t stop staring. I just want to know where his other leg is hiding here. It’s nowhere to be found, huh?
9. This Cringe-Worthy Ad
Ouch, isn’t that going to hurt? I get that these pantyhose are pretty strong, but do you have to make your point like that? It is making me cringe and feel pain at the same time.
10. This Absolute Gem
Wait a minute, what is going on here? Did somebody photoshop this guy’s beard and hair? Why did they have to do that? Are they trying to appeal to hipsters or something like that? Well, mission accomplished then.
11. These Floating Polka Dots
I’m not sure if this is advertising for a shirt, but I am sure that polka dots don’t just float like that. They don’t even look realistic here, and then somebody forgot to erase a few of them, too.
12. This Okcupid Ad
Is it just me, or did someone get a little bit overzealous here with their editing? Do they think ladies are looking for guys with three hands? How is it that nobody caught this before they approved it?
Whether you’re an individual or a company, perhaps you should check your Photoshop skills at the door.
If they’re not up to par, then you have no business even playing around with this tool. Leave it alone or get a professional to do it.
