When it comes to products and marketing, packaging is the first thing that everyone sees. When we want to buy something, it’s all about the appeal of the package. But, sometimes, people behind the scenes will deceive us just to get us to buy something. Always read the fine print and always examine everything, because you never know when the marketing is going to play you for a fool.
It’s more like a cheese sandwich.
Now, from the outside, it looks like a huge, ham-filled sandwich. But, when you open the packaging you learn that it’s mostly a cheese sandwich and there’s hardly any meat in there at all. Such a rip-off!

Next time, you might want to change the “regular” price, or actually include a discount with the sale price. You will only save $0 on this “sale.” So…it’s not actually a sale, right?

This dessert should be filled up in its entirety, but instead, there is barely any cherry filling. Eat it up and then grab some water. It’s definitely going to be a little dry!
You would think this was a huge, glorious wrap.
When it comes to the design of this package, it looks like the middle cardboard is holding the entire wrap in place. But in reality, it’s two small halves of a wrap and you don’t get as big of a sandwich as you thought you were getting.
I think they need to learn what “mega” means.
When you label something as “mega,” you’d expect that there would be a lot more nerf darts in there. Instead, most of the packaging is empty and it’s playing with your vision.
Strategic placing of the barcode sticker.
Lip balm is something you always want a lot of. The company must have lost their marbles because they placed the barcode right over the hollowed-out bottom to make you think you’re getting more.
Hot air and barely any Bark Thins.
You’d think they would fill the bag with enough bark thins to fill us up. This isn’t a snack. This is barely anything. The entire bag is mostly hot air and crumbs.
Yuck.
It’s bad enough that this person is eating “Greek yogurt” ice cream bars because we all know real ice cream is the best. But it’s even more disappointing that it’s not even remotely close to the photo on the box.
What a waste of money.
I’m looking at every single bottle from top to bottom from now on. Seeing as there is half of this tube missing, I’m not going to spend money on a product like this. This is exactly how they trick you.
Always read the fine print.
Anyone would pull into this parking lot if it’s only $4. But, if you look close enough, you’ll drive far, far away. It’s truly $4 for every 10 minutes. That’s no deal! It’s robbery.
Why not make the packaging true to the amount inside?!?
Nothing is more frustrating than when you buy a package of food and expect to get a lot of it, but you end up with half of what you thought. Ugh, this is so frustrating!
Well, that’s just wrong.
How is it possible that people can play consumers like this? This is a waste. They probably paid for an entire package and expected the entire package to be full. Instead, they got a bunch of cardboard.
This is definitely not what I bargained for.
Why must companies put the label over the middle of the packaging so we think we’re getting a lot of something, when in fact we are getting quite the opposite? I am going to double-check every package from now on when I shop.
That’s a super small amount of super glue.
The bottle is playing games with your eyes. You think that you’re getting a normal-sized bottle of super glue but in reality, it’s tiny and small. What a waste of money.
How is this even a sandwich?
This is barely a sandwich. This is just bread and a small portion of condiments. Wherever this person bought this, they should return it immediately and ask for a refund.

Hopefully, it’s not like THIS specific box of chocolates. The label is hiding that there’s hardly anything in the box at all. You may as well not gift this to anyone because you’ll come off looking cheap.
This is just rude and hurtful.
Pepperoni pizza should have more than three slices of pepperoni on it, always. That is a rule in the pizza book of laws and whoever did this is just plain cruel.
What a mean trick to play on us.
When you’re planning a party or a get-together, you want to plan for it to look nice. This company totally played us leading us to believe that this tablecloth was all tie dye and rainbows, but instead, only 1/4 of it had the tie dye design.
Did someone else get here first?
Buying a box of chocolates and only getting one piece is an awful experience. It’s almost as bad as the chip bags that are 99.9% air. Why do companies keep doing this to us?
Lox are expensive enough as it is.
Everyone knows that lox and other fish products are expensive. So, when you buy a package and there is hardly anything inside of there, it’s so painful and a total waste.
Cheat day…but, heartbreak.
Many of us cheat on our diets by indulging in some delicious snacks. But, when the snack is totally and completely disappointing, it’s a complete waste of our cheat day. There is hardly any chocolate in these pastries. I would be so ticked if I bought these.
That’s not a sticker roll, that’s a sticker strip.
It may look like you’re getting 100 stickers on here, but it’s just a giant cardboard wheel with 20 stickers wrapped around it. That’s not a roll, that’s just a small strip of stickers. Not to mention all the extra waste from the roll is so frustrating to deal with.
This “big box” is a joke.
If you label something as “the big box” you should fill the entire box! Putting a small bag in “the big box” is a waste of space and a waste of time.
