Years after their divorce, Demi Moore opens up in her new book about how having threesomes ended hers and Ashton Kutcher's marriage and why she regrets it.
The pair met and began dating in 2003. Naturally, they faced adversity due to their 14-year age difference.
Things went quite smoothly for several years to come, until rumors of Ashton's infidelity started bubbling to the surface in 2010...
After that, it was, unfortunately, splitsville for Demi and Ashton.
By 2015 they were married and parents to a one-year-old.
Sources claimed that Demi and Masha had been quietly dating for two years at that point, and were raising Masha's daughter together.
“They hold hands, and Demi is like a second mom to Masha’s baby," a source said.
Apparently, Ashton has known that she was planning on writing a memoir for quite some time.
"He knew better than anyone that this was in the works, since Demi has talked about it forever. She was carrying a Dictaphone around with her when they were married, recording her thoughts and memories for this tell-all she dreamed about penning one day," the source claimed.
“Now it’s happening, and Ashton’s freaked,” said the source. “He wants reassurances – in person – that Demi won’t be embarrassing him".
She first explains that when she met Ashton back in 2003, she fell head-over-heels for him, and their relationship was perfect. At first.
Demi revealed that the baby was a girl, and that she and Ashton were planning to name their child Chaplin Ray.
After their marriage in 2005, Demi and Ashton had been pursuing fertility treatments in the hopes of getting pregnant again, but Demi had a troubled relationship with alcohol and drugs.
While partying with her daughter Rumer in 2012, Demi admitted that she suffered a seizure after smoking synthetic cannabis that caused her to inhale nitrous oxide.
The seizure was the final straw for Rumer, as well, and Demi wrote that all three of her daughters were no longer speaking to each other.
This was happening shortly after the dramatic breakup with Ashton.
"When I was younger, I was obligated to be of service," she told The Times. "I wouldn't be loved if I wasn't — if I didn't give of myself."
“I wanted to show him how great and fun I could be,” she wrote in her memoir. But after experimenting with threesomes, twice, she realized it was a "mistake".
What felt like a bigger "[expletive] you" to her than the infidelity, was that the woman was one of her daughter, Rumer Willis' friends.
"Because we had brought a third party into our relationship, Ashton said, that blurred the lines and, to some extent, justified what he’d done," she wrote.
She revealed that a Google alert notified her that a woman had come forward, alleging that Ashton had cheated with her at his friend Danny Masterson’s San Diego bachelor party.
Let us know what you think of this glimpse into Demi Moore's soon-to-be-released memoir, Inside Out — coming Tuesday, September 24th.
“Part of my life was clearly unraveling,” she told The New York Times "“I had no career. No relationship.”
She told The New York Times that, "Something was going on, including my organs slowly shutting down. The root was a major heavy viral load."
According to The New York Times, "She went to a rehab program for trauma, codependency and substance abuse and worked with a doctor specializing in integrative medicine to rectify her health problems."
She added, "Physically, mentally, emotionally. It’s no accident that it’s all been in alignment and all happened at the same time.”
