Having a baby won't slow Shay Mitchell down.
The Pretty Little Liars alum recently announced that she won't be taking any maternity leave, and it's such a mood.

Doesn't it seem like just yesterday that Shay Mitchell announced she was expecting?

Now, her due date is just a month away!
She announced the happy news with this stunning photoshoot.
"Does this mean I’m allowed to drive in the car pool lane at all times now?" she captioned the shot.
At the time, she was already six months pregnant! In a YouTube video, the actress explained that hiding her pregnancy for so long wasn't easy.

In the video, titled "Guess Who's Preggers," she said, "It didn't feel right to just put up a photo and be like, 'I'm pregnant,' and have people just think that everything has been peaches and rainbows."
Get this: she even attended an Oscar's after party with no one suspecting that she was preggo.
That likely took a lot of Spanx!
Becoming pregnant again is a total blessing for the "You" star since she experienced a heartbreaking miscarriage just months earlier.

"We all have to deal with various struggles and challenges in life," she had written on Instagram stories when she broke the sad news on New Year's Day.
She also posted this ultrasound of the baby she lost.
"The support and affection that so many of you show me lifts me up during even my darkest days, one of which happened last year after I miscarried and lost the child of my hopes and dreams."

Thankfully, the Pretty Little Liars star is now in the home stretch of her current pregnancy.
Her due date is early next month and she and boyfriend, Matte Babel, already have a name picked out for their little girl!

They've also started straightening out their birth plan.
One of the details that was discussed was whether or not Mitchell would get an epidural.

Matte even ended up saying some controversial things on the matter.
“I’ve been thinking a lot about this birth plan and I feel like we need to be more on the same page with this,” Mitchell told Babel during the third YouTube video chronicling her pregnancy.

“You say no epidural, I say epidural.”
Babel responded by saying that he's partial to using an epidural since he's a hypochondriac who's afraid of drugs.

"I meet women all the time who didn’t choose to use epidurals," he said.
Not surprisingly, his comments were met with a lot of criticism.
"Is Boyfriend Matte Babel pushing the baby out of his vagina? DIDN’T THINK SO," someone wrote on Twitter.
Fans were so happy to see Shay give Matte a glimpse of the difficulties of pregnancy by making him wear a 30-pound belly and even delivering electric shocks to his stomach.
As for what comes after the baby, Shay recently shared some surprising news: she's not taking maternity leave.

For most mothers, maternity leave is a blissful (or hectic) time to take care of their babies without the stress of working!
When speaking to "People" this past Tuesday, she said that her team has already been notified that she's not taking time off.

“My entire team knows that there’s no maternity leave for me,” she said.
“I do a lot of my work on my phone and I have another company that I run."

"I love what I do, so for me, it doesn’t feel like work.”
Translation: she is going to be one badass mama.
On the other hand, her stance may change once she experiences her first sleepless night...
