Remember 16 and Pregnant, that show that exploited teenage pregnancy?
Farrah Abraham was the breakout star of it, and the overwhelming celebrity she has achieved since then means that anyone she dates has to have some rules, y'all.
Yes, they're weird.
When she was 17, she was chosen to be featured in an episode of 16 and Pregnant.
This led to her being cast in Teen Mom, which documented her life raising a child as a teenager.
During her pregnancy, she had to deal with her typical teenage issues, as well as those of a pregnant woman.
The hardest part came just before her child was born, a moment that left her as a future single mother.
She and Derek were broken up at the time of his death.
He was killed in a car accident in December of 2008.
"He was my first love, my only true love," Farrah wrote in her memoir, My Teenage Dream Ended.
She and her daughter, Sophia, are Instagram famous. Farrah boasts 2.2 million followers, while Sophia, who is 10, has over 730k.
That kid is more famous than I am, or ever will be.
Farrah was joined by Sophia in an exclusive interview with US Weekly.
Dating was among the topics they discussed, as well as handling fame, Sophia, and if any siblings are in Sophia's future.
First of all, her future partner has to be involved with Sophia.
"What am I looking for in a partner? I would say a partner who is well-rounded, loves my daughter, and loves dogs," she said.
"Just a good, fun, outgoing person.
I’m sure all of us who are single, which there are so many of us, are looking for a great human being. But there’s very few."
Farrah said she'd had problems in the past with men like that.
"When it comes to dating now, especially after all my therapy and relationship therapy, I’ve just seen some really nasty things in men," she began.
"I definitely don’t need anyone dating me anymore because I’m famous or I’m a celebrity. I take that really serious now."
It's actually so upsetting that someone would date her for her fame.
"I definitely know what I’m looking at now when it comes to personalities and behavior and human behavior," she said, citing that past experience taught her a lot about men.
"I don’t take any chances anymore. They sign NDA."
"NDA" is short for "Non-Disclosure Agreement," which basically guarantees the signer can't share or reveal the information they learn.
In Farrah's case, it means the men she dates can't exploit her personal life for fame.
"They’re not allowed to call press or other people [...]" she said, which checks out.
You do not want to have a fight with someone, only for them to turn around and spill all the details to TMZ.
"[They can't] be friends with reporters. I take it really serious."
Guys, wtf? Now I can't be friends with Farrah's future boyfriend. Curse her strict rules and my bad luck. Shucks.
"I discussed with her about being a celebrity in the limelight, and if a female acts like a male, it’s treated way differently, as we’ve seen."
Okay, pop off about sexism, queen! I support this.
"I think Sophia understands the harshness and the unfairness and the sexist attitudes toward women when they act like males. Sophia will rise and be above that.
She’s definitely aware."
