'Friends' Apartment Tourist Attraction Littered With People Peeing

Wow!

And the award for the weirdest thing I've read on the internet today goes to the title of this article! Come on down and take your slightly damp award!

So, you might be wondering why this is happening.

New Yorker

Are they protesting something? Do they hate the show so much that they want to make a statement?

Nope. They just have to pee.

You see, it's the 25th anniversary of 'Friends' and they set up a couch outside the building as an installation.

NBC

Tourists (Friends fans, presumably) from all over the world are coming in droves to see this new couch, and some of them have full bladders.

So, they just kind of... pee there.

One resident of the building had enough.

NBC

In an article written by The New York Times, one resident said:

“We have at least 400 tourists a day coming to look at that building. They take pictures all day and all night. I come outside and there’s 20 people hanging out on my stoop or taking a pee around the corner.”

So, keep this in mind, 'Friends' fans...

If you are going to see the couch, then take your pictures, leave your offerings and leave.

Oh, and please don't go there with a full bladder. Pee before you go.
