TMZ reports that it is alleged that Pettit supplied Miller with counterfeit oxycodone pills that contained the drug fentanyl. Fentanyl is an extremely strong synthetic opoid that is commonly connected to overdoses of this nature.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Miller had attempted to purchase percocets from Pettit.

Percocets are a prescribed painkiller containing oxycodone. However, it is alleged that the pills supplied by Pettit contained fentanyl in it's stead. Miller's death was ruled an accidental overdose from alcohol, cocaine, and fentanyl.

Prosecutors are claiming that Pettit is one of three people who allegedly supplied Miller with drugs two days before his death.

It is unclear whether the other two people, who are alleged to be associates of Pettit's, have been or will be charged as well. Prosecutors allege that after Mac's death, Pettit sent messages to his friends on Instagram saying he shouldn't post anything "just to be smart."

Pettit is currently being held without bond.
