Busy Philipps may have a daughter and a booming career as an actress and TV show host, but she's never too busy to handle the trolls that come her way.
Namely, the body-shaming trolls who attacked her recent Instagram post.
In the past — and now present — the actress/TV show host has dealt with her fair share of them.
It was in her Instagram story that she recalled what happened.
"She was so sweet and had such a calming manner and in a loveliest way, she said, ‘You’ve lost some of your plumpness from Cougar Town. You look nice still, but you’ve lost some of your plumpness.’"
“It was a compliment. She was very sweet when she said it. It just was an interesting choice of [words],” Philipps went on to say.
“I don’t think I was plump."
“So you just have to say, ‘Oh, I’m glad you liked the show’ and moved on.”
Literally.
This year, the 39-year-old became one of the unretouched models for Aerie's ad campaigns.
“I wish I had seen images of different women’s bodies in media when I was growing up,” she said.
“I wish I hadn’t been sold the lie that to achieve true happiness I needed a flat tummy and no hips so I could look like a model in an ad.”
The shaming comments occurred on this image she posted right before Labour Day.
She captioned it: "Get. That. Holiday. Weekend."
Busy is clearly too "busy" to deal with his hate. So, she sent him on his way with an epic reply:
“Then I have some FANTASTIC NEWS FOR YOU!” she wrote. “You can UNFOLLOW ME AND NEVER LOOK AT IT AGAIN!”
Yass, Queen!
Once again, Busy clapped back.
She wrote: "Bro. BRO. No. Absolutely not, sir. KEEP MOVING. BYEEEEEEEEEE.”
Busy would be so proud!
"You know how when you’re a woman, sometimes people feel like they should be able to comment about your body all the time or make laws about your body?" she wrote.
"Well when you’re an actress or any female in the public eye, everyone feels that they can comment on your body all the [expletive] time. Always."
Given what she wrote, it's clear why she told that guy to peace out.
So if any troll has anything else to say, in the wise words of Busy Philipps: BYEEEEEEEEEE.
