Ariana Grande Cancels Meet And Greets For The Rest Of Her Tour For Mental Health Concerns

Ariana Grande has had a rough few years — from the minor drama public deterioration of a few high profile relationships to the major traumas from the death of Mac Miller and the terrorist attack at one of her concerts in Manchester. Ariana has been public about her mental health struggles following these events, and the tolls they've taken on her life.

The most recent result of this struggle is the cancellation of her Meet & Greets for the remainder of her tour.

Fans who had paid extra for the opportunity to attend a pre-show soundcheck and be a part of a Meet & Greet with Ariana were informed through email that these activities were cancelled for the remainder of her tour.

Fans will be given a partial refund for the extra price for the Meet & Greet passes but will still be given VIP seating.

The statement released read, "Thanks to increased demand, Ariana is thrilled and humbled to have been able to add extra shows to the tour for her fans. It's not something she takes for granted. These extra months on the road, however, are not only exhilarating but exhausting."

"Due to the need to preserve her voice and energy, we regret to inform you that there will not be a Meet & Greet or Soundcheck Party offered at your show."

"This decision doesn't come easily and the last thing she would ever want to do is disappoint fans, but something has to give to allow her to continue giving 100% to her performances," it concluded.

Ariana herself has not publicly commented on this cancellation.

Most fans are supportive of Ariana taking the time she needs and doing what's best for her. One fan tweeted, "PTSD sucks. Pretty understandable given the garbage she's had to deal with in the last few years. Mental health comes before meet and greets, people. Ariana is doing the right thing."
