10+ Disney Easter Eggs Only True Fans Noticed

That's right, folks! Bust out those remotes, or your game console controllers, or the space bar on your laptop, because we're going to be looking at easter eggs in Disney movies you have to pause to see!

Some of these are so small they are easy to miss, while others were right in front of our faces.

'Big Hero 6' and Hans

Disney

In one scene during Big Hero 6, if you pause when they're in the police station, you can actually see that one of the wanted men is Hans, the villain from Frozen.

Uh, spoilers, I guess?

Mulan Wok

Disney

There's a store in Lilo and Stitch that has the name of another very popular Disney movie on the front! It's called Mulan Wok!

Maybe they named their store after the ancient Chinese hero.

Sleeping Beauty and Tangled

Disney

Could Mother Gothel be Maleficent in disguise?

Well, she has the spinning wheel from Sleeping Beauty, and I've heard of crazier fan theories about Disney. Who knows, that could be the case!

Wall-e keeps Rex

Pixar

Well, at least one toy from the Toy Story universe survived the kind of apocalypse that was the world of Wall-e.

Poor guy, he's probably so alone and scared without all his toy pals.

Looks like Boo loves 'Finding Nemo'

Pixar

And why wouldn't she? She's a little girl, she's probably seen it like 100 times! Heck, I know I have.

Boo must have seen it and begged her parents to snag some of that sweet merch for her to sleep with at night.

Look who is at Elsa's Coronation?

Disney

It seems that after surviving the wrath of Mother Gothel in the Tangled movie, Flynn and Rapunzel decided they wanted to see the world.

Or at least go to the coronation of Queen Elsa.

They really like Mulan in 'Lilo And Stitch'

Disney

Look at that big poster! Either everyone is a fan of Chinese history, or the movie exists in the Lilo and Stitch universe and people are fans of it.

I wonder how they feel about the remake?

Lady and The Tramp in '101 Dalmations'

Disney

Well, I guess it makes sense, considering everyone involved is a dog.

If you've got some dogs already animated, you may as well use them for your other dog movie.

Dumbo toy in 'The Great Mouse Detective'

Disney

And look at that, he even blows bubbles! It's too bad that was never a toy for children during our childhood, back when Dumbo came out.

Well, I've seen about everything, but I've never seen an elephant blow bubbles!

Pumbaa is a gargoyle

Disney

I wonder if he comes to life like the other gargoyles?

I wonder if he ever questions how he went from Africa to France and then was encased with stone?

Mickey is a Powerline fan

Disney

Or maybe he's just trying to recruit new talent for that Disney+ streaming service they're planning for the very distant future.

Either way, he's excited about everything happening (and coming) in the shot.

Mrs. Potts and Chip in 'Tarzan'

Disney

Well, that sucks. Not only did they remain inanimate objects, but years later a gorilla played them like a bunch of drums.

Maybe Jane is a descendant of Belle? I've seen weirder fan theories.

King Triton in 'Princess And The Frog'

Disney

He has a big ol' float in the middle of the parade, which would probably please King Triton a lot.

Sure, he probably doesn't like humans all that much, but who doesn't like big statues of themselves?

Scar is in 'Hercules'

Disney

Probably not the cameo he wanted, because he's just skin at this point.

I wonder how his agents got him to take the part, considering the fact that he was just part of the costumes.

Guess who went to visit King Triton?

Disney

Mickey, Donald, and Goofy! If you look real close (bottom left), you can see them in the crowd during that scene where he enters in The Little Mermaid.

Guess Mickey wanted to check on his properties...

The Beast in 'Aladdin'

Disney

Beauty and The Beast was a powerhouse.

It even got nominated for best picture at the Academy Awards! It was so popular, even the Sultan of Agrabah had some merch!

A Bunch Of Cameos In 'The Hunchback Of Notre Dame'

Disney

During the "Out There" scene, there are a bunch of cameos from other Disney movies.

We see Belle from Beauty And The Beast reading a book (typical Belle).

Another dog in '101 Dalmatians'

Disney

We've already established that Disney's most famous dogs (except maybe Pluto and Goofy) are in 101 Dalmatians, but there's another character from Lady And The Tramp that slips in there.

Remember Peg? She's also in the Twilight Bark scene.

Ratigan's Gang

Disney

You can call him a lot of things, but you can never call Ratigan exclusive. He lets a lizard into his gang, even lizards that are from Wonderland.

Yes, that is Bill the lizard from Alice In Wonderland.

Eric's wedding guests

Disney

There are some pretty important royal guests at Prince Eric's wedding (as there should be).

They're from the kingdom that Cinderella lives in, and in fact, are the king and duke of that kingdom.

'Brother Bear' has an odd visitor

Disney

During the scene where Kenai gets in the way of the boy's salmon fishing (party foul, Kenai) we see another fish pop up with the salmon.

It's Nemo! So that's where he's been all this time...

More dogs in dog movies

Disney

Well, we've established that it's probably prudent to use the dogs you've already used in the past for your future dog movies.

So are we really surprised Jock, Peg, and Trusty from Lady And The Tramp show up in Oliver and Company?

Tinkerbell is part of the fairy folk

Disney

For those of you who have seen the most recent Tinkerbell movies, this isn't news to you.

It isn't news to those of you who have seen The Black Cauldron either, because she appears amongst them (right between Taron and Eilonwy).

A surprise visit

Disney

There's a scene in Oliver and Company where the poodle, Georgette, is singing "Perfect Ain't Easy."

She lies down in front of a couple of pictures, and we can see Ratigan and... Scooby-Doo amongst them!

The carpet in 'Princess And The Frog'

Disney

In The Princess And The Frog, a very special magical carpet shows up in the movie!

That's right! It's the magic carpet from Aladdin. I wonder if that woman knows what that carpet is capable of...

A wooden surprise in 'Tangled'

Disney

There's a scene where everyone is singing about their respective dreams, and I think this one cameo's dream would be to be a real boy!

Yes, Pinnochio is hiding in the rafters!

People in the 'Lilo and Stitch' universe are also well aware of 'Dumbo'!

Disney

In the scene where she watches the falling star (stitch's spaceship), she has a Dumbo toy in her toy chest.

So she's a big fan of past Disney films!

Rapunzel and Flynn are fans of fairy tales...

Disney

Specifically, ones that turned into Disney films.

When they're reading in the library, you can see copies of Sleeping Beauty, Beauty And The Beast and The Little Mermaid on the floor.

An actual person in 'Oliver And Company'

Disney

It's not just dogs that cameo in Oliver And Company (and not just rats either).

At one point in the movie, you can see Princess Aurora (from Sleeping Beauty) is in the background.

An unfortunate cameo

Disney

This cameo may bring back some unpleasant childhood scarring memories.

However, there's a scene in The Rescuers (while they're singing "Someone’s Waiting For You") where you see Bambi and his mom.

Cue the tears.

The lamp

Disney

Mama Odie possesses some pretty serious magical items! Magical items she just throws around!

In the "Dig a Little Deeper" scene, she just tosses around the Lamp from Aladdin...

If only she knew what it was!

A famous alien in 'Treasure Planet'

Disney

Seeing as how they're in space, they must have interacted with Dr. Jumba Jookiba at some point.

He also must be selling some Stitch merchandise... Hopefully, Disney doesn't catch up with him.
