If you needed a reason to cry today, this is it:
Paul Walker and Vin Diesel's daughters just took the most heartwarming selfie together, almost six years since Paul's passing, and we're not okay.
If you needed a reason to cry today, this is it:
Paul Walker and Vin Diesel's daughters just took the most heartwarming selfie together, almost six years since Paul's passing, and we're not okay.
The Fast and the Furious star was killed in a deadly crash on November 30, 2013.
He had been sitting in the passenger's seat of his Porsche sports car when it crashed at a speed of more than 100mph.
Both of their deaths came as a huge shock to the world.
Walker was so young at just 40 and Rodas was a professional driver.
Thanks to the help of Caleb and Cody, the production team used their bodies to film the shots and then replaced their heads in the movie with CG versions of Paul's.
“There is something special that happens every time Cody comes to visit production…. Always making Pablo proud! All love, always,” Vin captioned the touching post.
The emotional song and video acknowledge Paul's impact on the cast, crew, and fans of the Fast and Furious franchise.
Vin has made numerous posts in tribute to Paul, and each one is always incredibly touching.
Vin shared this image with an emotional caption, saying, "Fast fan art... AMAZING! Fast fans... THE BEST IN THE WORLD!!" and then went on to address Paul's family.
"Meadow and the whole Walker family, will never know how much strength they have given me over the last five years. Hope to make you proud. All love, all ways."
He also left behind his only child, a daughter named Meadow Walker, who was born on November 4, 1998.
The year he passed, she had moved from Hawaii where she was living with her mom to California to be with her dad.
They got super close during that time together. He did all sorts of "dad" things like getting her ready for a school dance.
“He helped Meadow’s date pin on his boutonnière and drove them to the dance and picked them up. It was so sweet,” Walker's mom, Cheryl, said.
The 20-year-old, who's now a model in New York City, captioned the photo with, "Thinking of you xx."
"I love this picture," wrote actress Jordana Brewster who played his on-screen wife in the films.
"me too!" Meadow responded, along with "& I love you.”
Seriously, just try not to cry ... again.
In it, she's embracing Vin's 11-year-old daughter, Hanina Sinclair.
Want to hear something else so touching? Vin even named his youngest daughter, Pauline, after Paul.
Vin said, of feeling Paul's presence the moment his daughter was born, "He was in the room. There’s no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord."
"I just … knew he was there,” he says. “It felt like a way to keep his memory a part of my family and a part of my world.”
Vin also shared this adorable edited picture that has the whole gang together.
That something else being that she founded the Paul Walker Foundation.
It's an organization that encourages younger generations to help protect the earth's oceans and wildlife.
Paul would be so proud of the amazing young woman Meadow has turned out to be.
And now, with her special relationship with Vin's daughter's, it's so nice seeing the special bond Paul and Vin had, being repeated <3.
And it's extremely heartwarming for us as fans to see.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to have a little cry in the corner thinking about Paul Walker's legacy.
