John Stamos Defends Lori Loughlin In New Interview: 'It Doesn't Make Sense'
Now, he's speaking out in defence of his friend Lori Loughlin and her ongoing college admissions scandal.
By now, you must know about that time Lori and her husband Mossimo Giannulli got arrested back in March after they were accused of allegedly paying a WHOPPING $500,000 to guarantee their daughters Bella and Olivia Jade’s acceptance to USC as crew recruits, even though neither daughters have ever played the sport, lol.
In the scandal known now as Varsity Blues, Lori lost all of her sponsorships, as did her daughter Olivia Jade.

Which is a whole other saga for a whole other time.
Well, John had a few things to say about the scandal in his latest interview with GQ.

“I gotta be careful,” he said.
“I want to wait until the trial happens, if it does, or whatever the result is, and then talk about it.”
He goes on to say he and Loughlin are still close.
"Honestly I can't figure it out. It doesn't make sense. I talked to her the morning everything hit. I just can't process it still.”
“Whatever happened,” he says, “I'm pretty sure that the punishment is not equal to the crime, if there was a crime.”
