August 17 was National Thrift Shop Day and people came out in throwes to rummage through their local thrift stores to find all sorts of goodies. There's even a Twitter hashtag #FoundInTheThriftShop that is being used for everybody to share their interesting, unusual and bizarre thrift store finds.
Here are just a few examples of those unique gems. What have you found lately?
Someone clearly has some attachment issues here. Do they love Halloween or Christmas or both? LOL.
I dunno why anyone would have the need to "talk" to their cat about gun safety. Do they understand such issues? Have an opinion? What gives?
Apparently, some woman took home this gem. It's a lamp made from a real cast and she claims it stinks like hell. But she loves it anyway.
Speaking of one-of-a-kind stuff, this dress definitely matches that phrase. I'm confused what look they were going for but it's a stand-out.
Probably the most unusual way to keep your spare change. Why someone would want to collect coins in a sperm bank is beyond me but okay.
And then there's the next casual Friday office attire. Well, maybe if you're slightly crazy because I wouldn't wear that to the office. Right?
This one is perfect for that royal family lover you've got in your family. It's just kooky enough to make a great novelty gift.
Talking about a unique tissue dispenser. I dunno if I should be laughing or be terrified of his face. But it's a great conversation piece.
Maybe this is the next clever way to get your kids to eat their cereal. Either way, this is definitely a thrift shop keeper.
Talk about getting straight to the point and not holding anything back, huh? I dunno how popular this sanitizer ever was but it got my attention. LOL!
For those who absolutely love the taste of meat so much that they want to drink it in the form of soda. Eww, that's so gross.
Who needs designer bags when you can have this for a fraction of the cost? Ha, ha. Can you imagine it with any of your outfits?
I don't think I would ever give this doll to my kid or any other kid for that matter. Perhaps as a punishment or something.
