Little mistakes and instances that we can brush off and chalk up to being forgetful.
Luckily, this story has a happy ending but it could have been much worse.
One mom on a recent flight from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia apparently realized she had forgotten her child in the airport after boarding a plane — yup, you read that right.
Having to lug around your bags, and chase your kids around a crowded airport can be difficult.
No one wants to be that person making the entire plane wait.
While some parents are saying that they can't imagine forgetting their kids in an airport, luckily, the story has a happy ending.
The pilot called in to check if they can come back for the woman's child.
He said, “May God be with us. Can we come back or what? This flight is requesting to come back… a passenger forgot her baby in the waiting area, the poor thing.”
Although the situation was extreme, the pilot made sure she could go back.
Of course, passengers weren't too happy to have to turn back around. But, thankfully, the mom found her child.
Once when going to Paris, once in New York City. It happens!
