Congratulations are in order for actor Macaulay Culkin and his longtime girlfriend, actress Brenda Song. It's been reported by Peopel magazine that the pair are engaged less than one year after welcoming their son!
This incredibly private pair began dating four years ago and when Brenda was spotted out with a massive rock on that finger, fans totally freaked out.
The pair met on the set of Seth Green's Changeland, which was shooting in Thailand at the time.
In 2018 they moved into their first home together. Fun fact — Macaulay painted a yellow brick road leading to the pair's front door.
"Happy 40th birthday to this magical being," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "I could sit here and write endlessly about how wonderful, kind, loving, genuine, loyal, honest, brilliant and hilarious you are, and how grateful I am that I get to share and do this life thing with you."
The pair welcomed their son Dakota Song Culkin together last April.
"We are overjoyed," the stars, who named their baby after the Home Alone actor's late sister, said in a statement at the time.
"I played with some fire, I guess is the best way to put it," the actor told Esquire in 2020.
"At the same time, I’ve never been to rehab or anything like that. I’ve never had to clean out that way. There were certain times when I had to catch myself, once or twice,"
"I’ve had friends who ask me, ‘How do I get clean?’ And I go, I’m the last person you should ask, because I’m gonna give you the worst advice, which is: Just stop. Just stop! And that’s not the way it works. But I never went so far down that road where I needed outside help."
"I still kinda drink like a fish. I drink and I smoke. But I don’t touch the things. I do love them. They’re like old friends. But sometimes you outgrow your friends."
"People assume that I’m crazy, or a kook, or damaged. Weird. Cracked. And up until the last year or two, I haven’t really put myself out there at all. So I can understand that," the former child star told the publication.
He continued: "I wasn’t working in a coal mine. I wasn’t a child soldier. My father was not sexually abusing me. Certain [explective]-up things happened, but [explective]-up things happen to kids all the time and they don’t come out the other end."
