Baking Hack For Measuring Sticky Ingredients Is A Total Game Changer

Look, I love a good hack. You know, a hack that actually makes sense to do. I can't stand the trendy videos that show us ways to do things that are actually just harder, not easier.

Now, one food content creator is opening our eyes to a world of possibilities after sharing the baking hack we didn't know we needed.

I love a good set of measuring spoons, they make me feel like a professional baker from the Food Network.

And while that's great and all, these kitchen gadgets can also be a huge pain in the butt when it comes to measuring out sticky ingredients.

We're all be there...

You innocently go to measure out some honey or peanut butter and suddenly your workflow is completely thrown off now because now have to wash and rewash your measuring spoon or cups so it's not sticky or greasy anymore.

Well, food content creator Gayle Chapman is here to rescue us all.

In a recent video posted to her TikTok account, Gayle shared the ultimate measuring hack.

"This is genius, and whoever thought of it give them an award," she tells the camera.

She then takes one of her measuring spoons and puts an indent into the flour before filling it with honey.

I KNOW, RIGHT? So instead of dirtying her spoon with the sticky condiment, she can now just fill that measured out whole with honey.

OH THE TIME I'VE WASTED!

"Omg this is inGENIOUS," commented one user.

"Why don't we all know this?" said another.

Honestly, I don't know how much time this hack would have saved me in the past, but let it be known I will ONLY measure like this from here on out.
