Dogs are lifesavers in many ways. Anyone who has a dog knows how important they are to the fabric of the house. They aren’t just pets, they’re family. So when one new mom took to Twitter to share how her dog saved her baby’s life, dog owners began to share their stories and the internet, for once, became a positive, peaceful place.
A tweet by new mom Kelly Andrew is going viral.
“Last night the dog kept breaking into the nursery and waking the baby. She’s been sick, and I was getting so fed up with him,” she shared in her tweet.
“Until she stopped breathing.”
“We spent the night in the hospital. I don’t know what would have happened if he hadn’t woken her. We don’t deserve dogs,” she concluded.
The post has accumulated over 240,000 likes on Twitter.
The morning after, Kelly shared an update on her daughter, and on their brave dog Henry.
