Lindsay Lohan Announces Engagement To Boyfriend Of Two Years: 'My Future'

It's looking like 2021 is the year of the Lindsay Lohan comeback. The actress is rounding out her year with some exciting personal news: her engagement to her partner of two years, Bader Shammas.

The actress took to Instagram on November 28 to share the exciting news with fans worldwide.

The Instagram post featured a black-and-white photo of the newly engaged couple.

Lindsay captioned the post, "My love. My life. My family. My future." She also tagged her fiancé, Bader Shammas, although his Instagram account is private.

The post contained a few other photos of the couple including this shot of Lindsay showing off her ring to the camera.

The couple looked relatively casual, and most importantly, happy, as they shared the news of their engagement with the world.

Lindsay's fiancé is more low-key than she is when it comes to fame and social media presence.

Bader Shammas, 34, attended university in Florida and currently resides in Dubai where he works in finance. The couple has been together for two years now.

The news of Lindsay's engagement tops off a winning year for the 35-year-old actress.

Lindsay recently announced that she is working on a new Christmas film with Chord Overstreet that will debut on Netflix next year. She also has a podcast in development that will feature, "intimate conversations" with guests.

Lindsay rose to fame as a child actor in '90s hits like 'The Parent Trap'.

Surely everyone remembers this classic sleepover movie that left us all wondering if we were going to find our long-lost twin at summer camp, right?

And, in the early 2000s, Lindsay was a staple of tween and teen pop culture.

Seriously, Freaky Friday, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, and, of course, Mean Girls are all certified classics! We also have to love that Lindsay marks every Mean Girls day (aka October 3) on social media.

Over the last few years, Lindsay has branched out from her acting and music career.

She opened a luxury resort on the island of Mykonos which was documented in the MTV reality show, Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club.

Lindsay also collaborated with jewelry designer Lily Baker to release her own collection.

Besides her professional achievements, Lindsay has also used her fame to draw attention to a number of charities she supports.

It looks like Lindsay and Bader have a bright future ahead of them.

In addition to all her projects, Lindsay is going to have to make some time in her schedule to plan a wedding!

Congrats to the happy couple on this exciting news!
