If you’ve ever worked in the food service industry, you know how utterly infuriating it can be. You really don’t know anything about stress until you’ve worked behind a food counter with a line out the door and no one to help you out.
So when I see viral videos of fast-food employees in sticky situations, I can’t help but click in and try to defend them — it’s in my blood!
There’s no denying that many young people these days lack a certain work ethic.
While most don’t want to get jobs at all, others don’t pride themselves in the work their parents once did.
Working a fast-food job isn’t easy, and should be able to teach young people about the duties and responsivities of the workforce.
However, it’s not uncommon to hear horror stories from fast-food employees. I know, right? Next, I’m going to tell you grass is green.

One viral video is bringing attention to one young woman’s struggle as a Starbucks employee on Red Cup Day, and will hopefully insight some sympathy in impatient customers.
Look, I understand the rush to go to Starbucks to get holiday drink in a limited edition cup — it’s exciting!
However, this video literally made my skin crawl. LOOK AT HOW MANY ORDERS THERE ARE!
The viral TikTok from user and Starbucks employee @hellokittyluvr24 shows long lines of orders (and red cups) being made.
“Thank you for serving this country,” one user wrote in the comments.

“JUST CLOCKED OUT. I SURVIVED YALL STAY SAFE THOUGH,” said a fellow Starbucks employee.
Well, it’s clear that the main takeaway is we should all be more patient with our Starbucks baristas, especially around the holiday season!
