Couple's Breakfast 'Hack' Video Leaves Viewers Utterly Confused

Are you ready to see something cursed?

TikTok account @joshandlisa decided to post a "hack" for making pancakes that has the internet up in arms. Why? Well, not only is the hack weird as hell, there's something very unexpected in Lisa's cupboards.

Let's check it out.

The TikTok is weird right off the bat.

Who among us hasn't trapped eggs under glass bowls and then poured pancake batter all around it?

Oh? No one? So you also haven't added blueberries and chocolate chips to that pancake batter, either?

Oddly enough, that wasn't the weird part of the TikTok.

It was a weird part for sure, but it's what happens after she asks her over-enthusiastic friend to get her a plate that has me rolling.

You are not prepared for what's in that cupboard.

Well, that doesn't belong there.

The cupboard opens, and there it is: a pack of bacon.

Her friend casually mentions it:

"You know you have bacon in your cupboard?"

But the two are immediately distracted by their cursed pancake concoction coming out of the oven to mention it again.

The two fawn over their disgusting creation.

I failed to mention how deeply scripted all of this is, by the way. The two are putting on the performances of a lifetime as they navigate sheet pancakes, egg cups, and the bacon in the cupboard.

The commenters were completely baffled.

No one could figure out what the TikTok was trying to do. It wasn't a recipe, since Lisa gave no instructions. It wasn't comedy, since it wasn't funny. So, what the hell was it?

Seriously, WHAT WAS WITH THE BACON?

Josh and Lisa refused to explain why the bacon was in the cupboard, which is driving me insane. Did Lisa think the bacon needed a good thawing in the cupboard?

Margarita here pointed out something CRUCIAL.

I just want to say thank you to Margarita Falcon, who pointed out something that drove me insane: why was that sheet SO DIRTY? Girl, clean your friggin' pans! It's not a cast iron situation, the gunk doesn't add flavor.

So...what is wrong with Lisa?

It looks like Josh and Lisa have designed their entire social media presence around doing indescribable, inexplicable things for views. Nothing drives engagement (and thus ad revenue) like a random shot of bacon in a cupboard.

One look at their TikTok page proves that.

Next time you see something insane like this, remember: it's all for attention, engagement, and those sweet dollar bills. Do not put bacon in your cupboard, and definitely don't strain your coffee with a pair of underwear.
