Fans Are Proud After Macaulay Culkin Works The Runway In Rare Public Appearance

Macaulay Culkin is someone I think we're all rooting for. I'm so proud of the way he's turned his life and around and is just kind of thriving hard these days. As a dedicated dad and boyfriend, it seems the actor has never been better.

Now, fans are getting to see just how well time has treated Macaulay as he strutted his stuff on the Gucci runway Tuesday night.

If you don't normally watch fashion shows, I can't say I blame you.

I never watch them unless I know a celebrity is going to be making an appearance, ala Jennifer Lopez in her iconic green Versace dress.

However, this recent Gucci Love Parade show had a plethora of celebs for us to gawk at.

There was Jodie Turner-Smith, Phoebe Bridgers, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Macaulay Culkin!

Of course, everyone looked gorgeous and so chic, but fans were excited to see Macaulay because, well, he doesn't really do public events — like ever!

It's no secret Macaulay has had a life filled with struggles.

"I played with some fire, I guess is the best way to put it," the actor told Esquire last year. "At the same time, I’ve never been to rehab or anything like that. I’ve never had to clean out that way. There were certain times when I had to catch myself, once or twice,"

He continued:

"I’ve had friends who ask me, ‘How do I get clean?’ And I go, I’m the last person you should ask, because I’m gonna give you the worst advice, which is: Just stop. Just stop! And that’s not the way it works. But I never went so far down that road where I needed outside help."

"I don’t do drugs recreationally," he added.

"I still kinda drink like a fish. I drink and I smoke. But I don’t touch the things. I do love them. They’re like old friends. But sometimes you outgrow your friends."

As for his public perception, he understood why people thought he was "weird" for so long.

"People assume that I’m crazy, or a kook, or damaged. Weird. Cracked. And up until the last year or two, I haven’t really put myself out there at all. So I can understand that," the former child star told the publication.

"It’s also like, Okay, everybody, stop acting so freaking shocked that I’m relatively well-adjusted."

He continued: "I wasn’t working in a coal mine. I wasn’t a child soldier. My father was not sexually abusing me. Certain [explective]-up things happened, but [explective]-up things happen to kids all the time and they don’t come out the other end."

"I’ve got something to show for it, man. I mean, look at me: I got money, I got fame, I got a beautiful girlfriend and a beautiful house and beautiful animals," he explained.

A year later, in April 2021, Macaulay and his longtime girlfriend, Brenda Song, also added a beautiful child to the mix.

"We're overjoyed," the couple said of welcoming their first son, named Dakota Song Culkin after Macaulay's sister who tragically passed away in 2008.

These days, the 41-year-old is looking better than ever, and that was evident when he walked in the Gucci fashion parade Tuesday night.

CAN WE TAKE A MOMENT TO ACKNOWLEDGE HOW HANDSOME HE IS LOOKING?!

Naturally, Twitter was totally loving the stellar catwalk and the beaming pride coming from the actor's face.

"That's the best I've seen him look in years! A wife and baby look good on him!!" remarked one fan.

"He looks so proud," said a different fan.

"So happy for him," echoed another.

I think it's clear this is Macaulay's world and we're just living in it.
