Blake Lively Slams 'Disturbing' Instagram Account For Posting Pics Of Her Children

Being an A-list celebrity means making a lot of sacrifices and concessions when it comes to your personal time and space. But the one area where most celebrities refuse to compromise is their children.

Recently, Blake Lively took to Instagram to decry a disturbing account for posting pictures of her children without permission. And although Blake and Ryan are known for their humor — they certainly aren't laughing now.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are one of the most beloved celebrity couples in all of Hollywood.

The couple wed back in 2012 and since then have remained a constant fixture in one another's lives. They support one another's career aspirations and remain as dedicated to their relationship as ever.

Over the years, Blake and Ryan have developed a bit of an infamous reputation for trolling one another.

For instance, there was the time where Ryan celebrated Blake's birthday by posting a hilarious collage of "candid" photos of his beloved wife.

More recently, Blake trolled Ryan hard after he announced his plan to take a break from acting.

Ryan made the announcement after filming had wrapped on his upcoming feature musical, Spirited.

Among the many positive comments, Blake's comment of "Michael Caine did it first" stood out above the rest.

However, when it comes to the safety and wellbeing of their children, Blake and Ryan don't joke around.

As public and pronounced figures as both Blake and Ryan are, they're incredibly private when it comes to their home life with their kids. They believe it's important to respect their children's privacy and therefore refuse to post any pictures of them on social media.

Unfortunately, the paparazzi doesn't always adhere with their wishes.

Recently, Blake and Ryan's children (Betty, Inez, and James) were featured on the Hollywood Star Kids Instagram page — without their parents' consent. When Blake made the discovery, she was livid.

The actress took to Instagram to voice how upset she was about the photos to her fans and followers.

"This is so disturbing," Blake commented. "I've personally shared with you that these men stalk and harass my children. And you are still posting."

"You said you would stop. You personally promised me," Blake recalled.

She concluded by stating that "This is not casual appreciation. This is YOU also exploiting very young children. Please. Delete. Please."

Blake also made sure to note that while some celebrity couples are OK with photos of their children being taken, she and Ryan most assuredly are not.

In the wake of Blake's post, several of her fans reached out to Instagram in order to have the post deleted.

Once this was done, Blake made sure to thank everyone who had supported her decision.

"Thank you to everyone UNFOLLOWING accounts who exploit children," she wrote on her Instagram Story. "YOU make ALL the difference. Thank you for your integrity. Thank you."

Blake and Ryan aren't the only celebrity couple who are forced to fight against the paparazzi.

Back in 2014, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard were encountering similar issues. It's what led Kristen to spearhead the "No Kids Policy," which was eventually made into law in the state of California.

New mother and former *Game Of Thrones* star Sophie Turner has also had her own run-ins with the media.

"I'm sickened, I'm disgusted and I'm respectfully asking everyone to stop following us around and stop trying to take pictures of our daughter and especially printing them," Sophie said in a since-deleted Instagram video.

There isn't a single media outlet that isn't aware of which celebrities are and aren't OK with photos of their children.

Ignorance simply won't cut it. More than ever before, photographers, journalists, and publishers need to operate with an impenetrable level of integrity. Otherwise, our window to the world of celebrity will be rapidly slammed shut, forever.
