Easy Carving Tip Turns Any Pumpkin Into Mickey Mouse For Halloween

Who here loves to carve pumpkins for Halloween? I have to admit I only recently got into this. I didn't grow up with this holiday, so that's my excuse, hee-hee.

But now that I have done a few together with my fiancé, I'm constantly looking for other fun ideas. This one goes out to all those Disney lovers. And I guarantee that you will enjoy making it.

Okay, so what are your kids into these days?

There's a super cool video on TikTok I recently watched, that shows you exactly how to turn your pumpkin into Mickey Mouse. And when I saw it, I thought it was totally genius. You only need a few things to accomplish it, too.

Here are the tools you'll need.

Get yourself one large pumpkin and two smaller pumpkins for the ears. You'll also need tracing paper, a carving tool, and wooden skewers. That's pretty much it. Oh, and probably a plastic bag for the pumpkin guts, ha, ha!

Now you will need to print out a stencil of Mickey’s face.

Then you can tape it onto the pumpkin and trace the outline with the carving tool. After that, just carve out the rest, and voilĂ ! It already looks like Mickey, huh?

But wait, there's more.

To finish off the look, you need the famous Mickey ears, no? Don't worry, dear. That's where the little pumpkins come in. Grab those and attach them to the wooden skewers, then place them onto the pumpkin.

Okay, if you're lost, let me show you how to do this.

Check out the video below, and you'll see exactly how it comes together. See, what I mean? It's super easy, huh? And isn't it so adorable? Aww, I love it.

Something tells me that your kids will freak out over this.

And all their little friends are going to be so happy to see the gorgeous Mickey pumpkins you put out this year. Maybe you can do Minnie too, hee-hee.

Let me ask you the question — are you totally into this or what?

I think even if your pumpkin carving skills suck, you can still pull this off, haha. I'm no expert, but I would be confident to do this myself. So what are you waiting for, huh? Go for it.
