'Sister Wives' Star Janelle Brown Shows Off Weight-Loss Transformation

Weight-loss and health journeys are deeply personal experiences.

No one owes anyone an explanation for why they've decided to change their lives, but it's always nice when they do open up — especially if they're a celebrity. Now, star of the hit TLC reality series Sister Wives Janelle Brown is opening up about her recent weight-loss transformation on Instagram.

TLC's hit show *Sister Wives* has been a staple of reality television for years.

The show, which has run since 2010, follows polygamist Kody Brown and his four wives — Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn — as they raise their 18 children and navigate their very unique home life.

One of the early fan favorites of the series was second wife, Janelle Brown.

Janelle, who is mother to six of the Brown's 18 children, has been open and honest with fans about her ongoing weight-loss journey.

Now, the 52-year-old is opening up about her recent transformation.

Posting before and after selfies, the TLC start wrote:

"Change comes first with the decision to try. Trying comes with the decision to continue. Continuing comes with the decision to be committed. I wanted & needed something but I didn't know what. I thought THAT (my before) was how it was supposed to be."

"I didn't start this for a month hoping for it to change everything. I started this because I was willing to put in the time for change to happen," she continued.

"You see, health isn't something we tackle for just a month and move on. Health is something we constantly nurture. Without our health we have nothing. My decision to try, continue and commit is why I have seen the results that I have."

"You have to decide, just like I did. You're worth it. You're deserving. You're ready for change. You're committed," she added.

It's great to see Janelle looking happy and healthy! Can't wait for the new season of Sister Wives!
