Body language is so important. If a picture speaks a thousand words, then a human interaction speaks a thousand words a second. Don't quote me on that, though.
What I mean to say is, body language can tell us things without verbally telling us things. This is why I love when body language experts give us all their tips and tricks!
If a person is rolling their eyes, scrolling on their phone, or constantly looking away from you, it's safe to say they are not emotionally invested in your conversation.
If they're continuously touching your arm, giving you intense eye contact, or giving your back a little rub, it's clear they're engaged in the conversation with you!
Enter TikTok user Patrica, who is helping millions of users on the popular video-sharing app decode people's body language.
Her dozens of videos have been super helpful for those who are interesting in learning what people are really thinking about them.
"If their feet are pointed at you, signals that the pointer is interested in you," Patricia wrote.
"If their feet are pointed away from you, can signal disinterest, discomfort or desire to exit the conversation."

Patricia insists that people who smile only with their mouths/teeth are most likely faking a smile, while those who react with their whole face are showing a more genuine sign.
