There are a lot of things that celebrities get flack for that I personally don’t agree with. I think rich people should be able to buy dumb, expensive stuff if they want to.
However, when it comes to giving your kids a “normal” experience like buying them a big yellow school bus so they can “pretend” to be like the rest of the back-to-school kids, you have to expect people will react some type of way.
It’s no secret that Kylie Jenner has received a lot of backlash in the past for how she spends her money.
While I do believe it’s nobody’s business how rich people choose to spend their money, there is going to be backlash when you buy your 2-year-old daughter a $12,000 backpack — that’s just the way the world works!
In case you missed the big news, Kylie is *allegedly* pregnant again with boyfriend Travis Scott!
The pair, who have had a notoriously on-again, off-again relationship are already parents to 3-year-old Stormi Webster, who they welcomed in February 2018.
Travis and Kylie have always gone above and beyond for their first born, celebrating her birthday’s with lavish, over-the-top parties.
To be fair, I can’t imagine any parent not doing the most for their child if they could!
As you may recall, Kylie was declared the “youngest self-made billionaire” by *Forbes* back in 2019 at just 21-years-old.
The decision to name Kylie a “self-made” billionaire was controversial and eventually the reality star was stripped of the title.
It is now estimated that the 24-year-old is worth closer to $700 million.
Just $700 MILLION!

It’s fair to say a lot of Kylie’s money has gone towards spoiling little Miss Stormi.
Who can forget when Kylie bought Stormi a Hermes backpack for her first day of school last year?!
For the record, Stormi was two years old and the “school” she was attending is absolutely homeschool, lol.
If that wasn’t flashy enough, Kylie posted a pic on her Instagram stories of Stormi’s Hermès bag, captioning it, “First day of homeschool!”
The $12,000 backpack rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.
For this year’s back-to-school season, it seems Kylie and Travis have outdone themselves when it comes to spoiling their little princess.
Posting on her Instagram story Tuesday, Kylie shared a picture of Stormi by a big, yellow school bus.
“all stormi has been talking about is riding a big yellow bus. daddy surprised her,” Kylie captioned the pic.
She proceeded to share pictures of Stormi in the bus looking so cute and so excited.
Of course, the internet has reacted the way you would *expect* the internet to react.
“Kylie Jenner surprised her daughter with a school bus so she could ride on it ???? They’re really living a different life I can’t even wrap my head around that lol,” tweeted one user.
“Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner’s kid was talking about riding on a big yellow bus, so Travis bought her a school bus instead of you know — just sending her to public school,” tweeted another.
“I can’t decide whether that’s baller or completely out of touch,” they added .
