Mom Shares Her 'Cash Stuffing' Hack That Keeps Her Monthly Budget In Check

Saving money is not easy — that's a fact. It's also not a task many people like, myself included, ha, ha! So what if you could make budgeting a little bit more fun?

Well, that's exactly what this one mom came up with, alright. And she's sharing her fabulous tips with her audience on TikTok. So let's check it out. Come on!

Money-managing master Gloria of Lola Budgets on TikTok, rocks this budgeting thing.

Honestly, the system she came up with is quite genius. She makes this task a little bit more glamorous and less daunting. I don't know about you, but I absolutely love that.

She came up with an idea to create see-through envelopes for everything the family spends on each month. Then she puts the cash amount in each envelope. That way, she can "see" exactly where her money goes.

But that's not all.

Gloria has fun with it all by creating these glamorous and sparkly labels on each of the envelopes. Come on, everything that's blinged out does look better, huh? I think so too, ha, ha! So I like that idea.

I mean, take a look at these. Don't they look fabulous or what?

What a great idea. Granted, this will only work for you if you pay for stuff with cash. Otherwise, this system might get too complicated. Do you get what I'm saying?

This idea not only works for adults.

I think this is so awesome to teach your kids how to save their money. They can sit with you and watch you allocate each amount to whatever you need to pay for that month.

This lady should totally teach a class on budgeting.

Don't you think so? There are so many people who don't know how to get a handle on their finances. I think something as simple as this would totally help them.

She provides such a valuable lesson to other moms out there who struggle with this task.

And as you can see here, they are so appreciative of Gloria showing them how to do this quickly and easily. Aww, that's so wonderful.

I bet she loves hearing such praise from fellow moms.

It's really hard to keep track of where your money is going if you don't see it. Sometimes, the old-fashioned way of using cash may just be the very best thing.

So what do you think of her idea here?

Would you find this helpful for your household? If, not what else do you do to keep yourself on track and not spending too much? I would love it if you could share it with the rest of us.
