Twitter Is Divided After Someone Painted Their Pool Red Instead Of Blue

Ah, Twitter. My favorite and least favorite place on the internet.

People on Twitter have hot takes about absolutely everything — whether you want them or not. From lemonade stands to relationship ethics, Twitter runs the opinion gamut.

In today's edition of "Twitter Takes," we have: blood-red pools. Yup, red pools.

Well, here it is.

The tweet that started it all. Twitter user @TheFatDoja posted that she thinks red pools look fire, and I gotta say...I do not agree! This looks deeply cursed!

I think I hate it.

Here's a bigger look at the pool. I definitely do not like it, y'all. It looks like the water would be hot. I'd have so much anxiety swimming in that pool.

People had some interesting opinions on the pool.

Like, are people on Twitter doing okay? (I'm on Twitter all the time, I know no one there is doing well.)

Also, isn't blood darker? I'm gonna call cap on this.

This exchange had me ROLLING.

Del Kenya over here with the crocodile jokes. I'm really appreciating the simplicity of Zuruvi's reply. It perfectly encapsulates what happened in my brain when I read the intial tweet.

Others straight up didn't believe it was real.

I mean, to be fair...it does absolutely look like Jell-O. You could stick a straw in that thing and slurp it on up.

(I guess you could do that regardless, because water...but anyway. The lesson here is not to drink pool water.)

Yeah, it's giving me Thanos.

This is absolutely a pool that Thanos would have. His would probably be filled with real blood, but still. Red pools have big supervillain vibes.

Some people provided examples of cooler pools.

Um, I had no idea art-type pools existed. I thought they could be minimalist and one color, or natural pools. Pools with art on the bottom are SO MY VIBE.

Others liked black better.

I've actually written about black pools before. I love the vibes black pools have, even if the inability to see the bottom would send me into a mental spiral.

So, what do you think of the pool from the underworld?

While I deeply hate the red one, I am all for having unconventional pools! I love when home owners do weird things with their houses. What do you think?
