As fans may recall, Friends actor Matthew Perry was unfairly criticized on social media in the weeks before and following the highly anticipated HBO Max reunion of the beloved '90s sitcom.
Now, the actor is showing fans he's all smiles these days in a new Instagram pic that is causing Chandler fans everywhere to swoon!
In one part of the interview, Matthew recalled a story of stealing a prop from the set, saying: "I stole the cookie jar that had the clock on it." However, some fans thought the word "stole" had a strange "sh" sound to it.
Fans later found out the star's slurred speech was due to a medical procedure he had the day prior to filming.
"Matthew turned up at the reunion and members of his team said he had an emergency tooth procedure that day," a source told The Sun at the time.
"The feeling was one of huge sympathy for Matthew, especially in recent days, given how people reacted online."
The source continued: "Matthew has told those around him that he is sober, and there is no need to worry."
"Happy days," he captioned the pic, and let me tell you — HE DOES LOOK HAPPY! And, he looks very handsome.
