Sure, you get to travel the world and live a nomad lifestyle. But it also comes with some crappy situations (pun intended).
Flight attendants have lived through traumatic experiences, such as people going number 2 in their seats and being privy to some awkward hookups.

Sadly for this flight attendant, they had to deal with racism on their flight.
Since they have a Turkish accent, a person rudely asked, "You're not going to fly us into any buildings, are you?" So insensitive.
This Redditor had a couple switch seats to the back so they could hook up.
Thing is, that wasn't the girl's partner, as her husband was sitting oblivious in his seat. A lot of flight attendants say people hook up with strangers on flights.
"We had a school group of young children sitting in the front of the plane. On takeoff one little boy leaned over into the aisle and threw up. The puke rolled and splashed down the aisle almost all the way to the back galley." - u/runLikeYerBeingChasd
This flight attendant saw some NSFW stuff happen in business class of all places. A girl was doing, well, something to her boyfriend underneath the blanket. It was obvious, but she didn't care.
"I work for the airlines and one of our flights served lunch just after take off and one of the passengers asked 'why is my Quinoa moving?' Turns out the salad served unfortunately came with complimentary maggots. All the food served was taken back and nobody ate for the remainder of the 8 hour flight." -u/and_a_side_of_fries
This one is something else. A flight attendant was working a flight where a man was so enamored by the pretty girl next to him that he started touching himself not-so-secretly underneath a blanket. Disgusting.
"Caught a guy peeing on a family. Had to call an emergency landing. Guy later admitted to being high on pills and thought he was in a lavatory. Had no recollection of doing what he did." - u/Akepur
A passenger who was new to Western customs went to the bathroom and returned with blue liquid dripping from their beard.
As it turns out, they had washed their face with the toilet water...

This flight attendant had their hands full when a group of people arrived super wasted.
They ended up causing so much chaos on the flight, including almost killing a child and hooking up with other passengers. WTF!

Flight attendants get asked a lot of stupid questions. The worst was definitely when a father asked politely if the pilot could shut off one of the jet engines so his son could sleep peacefully.
"Had a 20ish year old girl going to see her SO. She needed to shave so she did so in the bathroom, turbulence pursued and she cut herself really bad. Had to bring paramedics in and they carried her out. After unloaded, the FO noticed the trail of blood down the jetway." - u/NexusEvo

When celebs don't fly private, it's the flight attendants who are stuck with them!
This person got stuck with Nicki Minja, who they said was the worst passenger, as she was rude and demanding.

"At Denver international a flight that just landed had an irate passenger. As soon as the plane hit the gate the passenger took off from his seat, opened the service door on the back of the plane. He then jumped off the plane to end up breaking both his legs." -u/deleted
