Man's Response To Feet On Armrest Sparks Discussion About Plane Etiquette

Travelling by plane has its own unique sets of worries that come along with it. Among those is the behavior of those on the plane with you, who can make or break the enjoyment of your flight.

When one disruptive guest made a rather nasty move, this TikTok user displayed the perfect act of retaliation. No more invaded privacy, go forth and set boundaries on your flights!

For those who fly often, it's a well known fact that not everyone has the best behavior on planes.

From loud, disruptive conduct to not being considerate to your seatmates, there's a lot one can do to make a flight unpleasant for those around them.

One half of the Walker brothers, @the.walker.twins on TikTok, shared one such experience and what he did to combat it.

The video he uploaded shows him sitting in his seat, then pans to an unsightly guest.

On the arm of his chair is the bare foot of the person sitting behind him, toes flexing and all.

The on-screen text reads, "What to do in this situation." It's a good tip apparently, as the video now has 4.1 million views with 380k likes.

So, what is the best course of action then?

He teases it in his next shot, lifting up a small bottle of water to the camera before turning and pouring it onto the stranger's foot, which is then quickly pulled away.

The comments praised the tactic, thinking it very appropriate for the crime.

"Right on," wrote one user, "I'm so tired of people and their lack of respect for others."

"I can't think of a better solution to get your point across," wrote another.

Then there were those that came up with their own retaliation.

As one commenter suggested, "I would have locked hands with it and wouldn't have let go no matter how hard they pulled. It's my foot now."

Some were a little more aggressive, like this user's idea that read, "Ask for some coffee or tea and accidentally drop it."

Finally, the swiftest and most decisive of all, "Just cut their foot off."

That's a bit extreme, but what would you do about an unwelcome foot on your armrest? Let us know in the comments!
