Dick Van Dyke, 95, Shows Off His Workout Routine: 'I'm Looking Forward To 100'

What I'm about to show you all will officially make every excuse you have for not working out look bad. Now let's be clear — I'm no olympian myself. I can barely get out of bed in the morning without something hurting, so I'm not judging anyone. I'm just saying if 95-year-old Dick Van Dyke can do crunches every day, but it's not a bad idea for all of us to do the same!

Sure, we all know one-name wonders are powerful. Take Madonna, Elvis, Prince and Beyoncé for example.

However, you know what is even more powerful than one iconic name? Three iconic names!

Please welcome to the conversation Dick Van Dyke, ladies, and gentlemen!

There are so few legends left from the Golden Age of Hollywood, it's a real shame.

Kids today have no idea what they're missing when it comes to talent and acting power. Dick Van Dyke is truly the essence of a Hollywood showman and doesn't seem to be showing signs of slowing down anytime soon!

In a new interview with *CBS This Morning* the 95-year-old showed off his backyard exercise regime.

"I'm 95, and a lot of my friends won't do these," he says, demonstrating an ab exercise on the ground in his backyard.

"So all you old guys out there, listen to me, I'm telling you: You can keep going for a long— I'm still dancing! And singing!"

Still dancing he is!

He went to on describe himself as an "active" actor, looking back on his role in 2018's Mary Poppins Returns when he took on the challenge of an intricate dance sequence.

He explained he was given "three versions and I took the hardest one. I had to prove I could do it."

"I'm looking forward to 100," he adds later on in the interview. "George Burns made it, and I'm gonna do it too!"

We'll keep dancing on the sidelines and rooting for you, Dick!
